Partnering with Parents

The Partnering with Parents (PWP) program offers individualized, one-on-one parenting classes for families at no charge. PWP aims to help families learn and embrace healthy parenting practices to promote healing and strengthen family systems. Through our classes, families learn skills and gain tools that will empower them to create and restore healthy relationships with their children and to thrive as a family!

Our Parenting Instructors utilize the Nurturing Parenting curriculum, which focuses on five primary constructs: appropriate expectation, empathy, alternatives to corporal punishment, appropriate family roles, and power and independence. Instructors incorporate other trauma-informed, research-based resources into parenting classes to meet the unique needs of each family.

PWP parenting classes are offered in person at our main campus in Midland and virtually for those unable to attend in person. Families may be referred for classes by Child Protective Services, Foster Care and Adoption agencies, and other family and human service agencies. Families may also self-refer. Please email [email protected] or call us at 432-694-7728 and ask for the PWP Parenting Program for more information or to initiate a referral.
